My name is Dan Banks. I am an independant artist & renissance man. I am the creator of danbanks.com.

I live in Nashville, TN. I am a part of the amazing creative community we call Music City.   Over the years I've put out two independant CDs, trying to find my own sound, style, and message.  Today, I'm super excited about the new music I'm creating, and the place its coming from.  When it's done, I will release it on this site.

If you'd like to own my latest album, Something Real, you can get it here.  Downloads and streams are available throughout the web.  However, when you buy music directly from danbanks.com, you are supporting me directly, and that makes you super awesome.  CD's are still pretty cool.  The one's you get directly from me- are pretty special.

But, before you do something crazy like give me your money: please try-on my music.   See how it feels.  Who knows, it may be the perfect fit, right now.  If not, that's OK too.  The next stuff I put out might may have an elastic waist band, and be super-comfy for everyone (similar to a Snuggie).  Chances are, I'm probably working on a song just for you right now and you don't even know it.  How cool is that?
